The Journalism & Mass Communication Department of the Utkal University would have its own studio at its premises soon.
The students of the department would no longer depend on outside organisations for getting training in video shoot and video editing.
Discussions for the purpose were held with the heads of various universities last week about exchange of education for the Mass Communication students with leading educational institutions outside Odisha in the universities in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, informed Utkal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Soumendra Mohan Patnaik here on Tuesday.
Attending the inaugural function of ‘Affinity 2018’ organised by the Journalism & Mass Communication Department yesterday, Utkal University PG Council Chairman Brahmananda Satapathy said journalists should not hide the truth under any pressure.
