On the occasion of the death anniversary of first Prime Minister of independent Odisha and former president of the Utkal Sammilani Parla Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati Narayan Dev, activists of Utkal Sammilani led by State president Dr Guru Prasad Mohanty garlanded Maharaja’s statue here at the AG Square on Saturday.
Among others, general secretary Adwaita Kumar Patra, Mancheswar industrial branch president Dilip Das Shrma and Bhubaneswar branch president Bibhuti Swain were present.
Utkal Sammilani State president Guru Prasad Mohanty, State treasurer Usha Rani Mohanty, branch secretary Basanti Singh, member Nirakara Mahalik and Dhankanal branch president Basanta Tripathy paid floral tributes to the statue. All the working members of the Sammilani also garlanded the statue on the Assembly premises.
