The UTA, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, has threatened to embark on agitation from November 6 if its demands are not met.
Giving a memorandum to the VC, OUAT in this regard, the UTA lamented that despite repeated reminders, no actions have been taken by the university authorities in fulfilling the genuine demands leading to dissatisfaction among its members.
The demands include withdrawal of memo issued to Deans/Directors/ HODs/OICs on EPF and ESI which should be managed at university level; streamlining of CAS in Teaching, Research and Extension including KVK; clearing of pending cases before implementation of 2018 CAS guidelines and promotion thereof; digitalisation of OUAT (online salary/arrear/file transfer); finalisation of API scores for direct recruitment of Associate Professors and Professors; clearing of pending 7th Pay Arrear and sanction of PhD increment to all the faculty members as per eligibility and admissibility.
