The State Government on Monday announced use of Odia language in nameplates mandatorily in shops and business organisations in the city.
labour Department Principal Secretary G Srinivas, the Khordha Collector and district labour department officials were instructed to investigate, review and take necessary action in this regard.
Persons who do not follow this order would be punished by the Government, said a circular issued by the DIPRO.
