A few days after TikTok videos shot by some nurses in the Sick and Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here raised a hue and cry across the State, the CDMO on Tuesday restricted use of mobile phones in the hospital.
CDMO Ajit Kumar Mohanty restricted entry of mobile phones into sensitive and critical care units of the DHH like ICU, SNCU, OT and labour room.
The errant nurses Ruby Ray, Tapasi Biswas, Swapna Bala and Nandini Ray were earlier served show-cause notices by the CDMO for medical negligence and recording TikTok videos inside the SNCU.
In the videos, the nurses were seen dancing to Hindi numbers inside the SNCU. One of them was seen cradling a baby without gloves.
