The Additional District and Sessions Judge Court here rejected the bail application of US national William Michel, who was arrested on September 18 on the charge of possessing ammunition at the Biju Patnaik Airport here.
“Since the investigation process is at a preliminary stage and the ballistic report of the seized live bullets is yet to come, the court rejected his bail plea,” sources said. The court too directed Paradip-based ONGC, where Michel was scheduled to visit on September 18, to submit a report to it on his itinerary.
Earlier too, the SDJM court had rejected his bail application.
