As part of the US Consulate General in Hyderabad’s America Days tour to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, US Consul Michael Mullins paid a visit here and its adjacent areas between Sunday and Tuesday.
“Since my arrival in Hyderabad a few months ago, I had eagerly anticipated the opportunity to travel to this panoramic State and to meet its dynamic community, business and educational leadership,” Michael Mullins said, adding, “I look forward to more visits in future to learn more about this vibrant State.”
During his three-day visit, Mullins called on Governor SC Jamir and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He held talks with business advocacy organizations on their activities in support of stronger business relations between the US and India.
He also spent some time with the students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, where the US Department of State supports an English language micro-scholarship programme. He visited Phailin-hit Konark and Sun Temple too.
