The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Monday named Upasana Mohaptra as the State coordinator for the “I support Modi” campaign, which is meant to gather new voters in support of the BJP ahead of 2019 general elections.
Morcha president Tankadhar Tripathy announced Mohapatra’s name at a Press meet in the presence of BJYM Prabhari Kalandi Samal on the advice of the party’s State president Basant Panda.
“All first-time voters in the age group of 18-22 years would be brought together to support the BJP ahead of upcoming general elections,” said Tripathy.
Among others, Morcha State general secretary Bishwa Ranjan Badajena and secretary Deepak Kumar Gochhayat were present.
