Six members of a tribal family in Baraguda village died of an unknown disease under Jharigram block during treatment at hospitals in last two days.
CDMO Dr Niranjan Behera instructed a medical team to go to the village for proper diagnosis of the disease and provide treatment accordingly.
In compliance with the direction issued by the district administration, another team of doctors with ADMO Dr Sobharani Mishra reached the village for collecting information regarding the symptoms of the disease. A team of doctors of the MKCG Medical College and Hospital was also engaged there in the direction of the Director, Health.
