A mandap dedicated for solemnising marriage of economically weaker sections and especially for conducting marriages without castes, dowry and horoscope, would come up here on the Ganesh Chaturthi by the Arya Samaj, Odisha.
Swami Brahamananda Service Mission State chairman Dr Aryakumar Jnanendra said that to realise the dream of chief of Gurukul Andolan Swami Brahmannad Saraswati, the Shashi Bhushan multipurpose marriage mandap would be inaugurated on August 31 and be dedicated for the service of poor and downtrodden community. The foundation of the facility was laid in 2016. Till date, as many as 38 marriages have been solemnised.
Prominent Arya Sanyasis and gurus have confirmed their participation for inauguration of the mandap, which is coming up at Aurobindo Nagar in the Chandrasekharpur area.
