Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Wednesday said the State Government is not giving adequate attention to the execution of Central projects.
He alleged that the State Government has not taken sufficient measures to make the Swachh Bharat-Clean Indian campaign a success.
“It is seen that the BJD Government is not giving proper attention to the execution of various national schemes and projects being launched by the NDA Government at the Centre,” alleged Jual.
Notably, the Union Drinking Water and Sanitation Secretary in a letter to the Chief Secretary on September 26 asked to prepare an action plan for Clean India campaign in State level, besides asking him for launch the campaign either by the Governor or the Chief Minister. But no measures have been taken in this regard by the State Government.
While Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would launch the campaign at the Bhubaneswar railway station, Jual Oram will inaugurate it at the Rourkela railway station on Wednesday.
