The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) organised a two-day meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee at the Centurion University recently.
MSDE Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, 11 MPs and Ministry officials attended the meeting.
Rudy inaugurated the ‘Centurion Skill Development Center’ and ‘Centurion Audio Visual Centre’ in the varsity campus. On the occasion, Rudy establishment of more Model Skill Centres across the country every youth can capitalise the opportunity.
MPs while appreciating skill-integration education model, which uses teaching-practice-production approach, expressed their desire to replicate the model in their respective constituencies.
The Committee also visited the university’s Micro Business Centre, which is a unique and innovative incubator for research and practice in entrepreneurship development.
University president Prof Mukti Mishra, Vice-Chancellor and Managing Director Gram Tarang ad AbhinavMadan welcomed the delegation.
In his speech, Mishra the university’s efforts to integrate skills in higher education while ensuring skill with substance, scale with sustainability and speed with stability have started bearing fruits.
