Union Minister of Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi on Thursday appreciated the National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) in achieving record-breaking results despite the challenging global business environment. He was addressing the employees during his visit to the Nalco corporate office here.
Notably, the Nalco in 2021-22 recorded a net profit of Rs 2,952 crore, the highest-ever since its inception.
Joshi announced a production and performance gift of 1% of Profit before Tax as a token of appreciation for all employees. He also announced a performance reward in the form of one-month basic wages for them.
