Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan would arrive here on Friday on a three-day visit for a review of the progress of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar.
According to official sources, Vardhan would visit the AIIMS campus near Sijua at 10 am on Saturday to review the progress of OPD, IPD, OT and other areas of the hospital complex.
After a tree plantation programme at the AIIMS, he is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Secretariat at noon and discuss various issues in the health sector in the State. Vardhan would again return to the AIIMS at 4 pm to interact with students, faculty and staff following a visit to the Medical College and Nursing College of the institution.
He would also have a darshan of lord Jagannath at Puri at 7 pm the same day.
On Sunday morning, the Union Minister would visit health facilities in the capital city and then address a Press conference at 3 pm at the State Guest House. After some local visits, he would return to New Delhi at 6.55 pm.
