Utkal Bharat president Kharabela Swain has hailed the announcement of setting up of an IIM in Odisha in the Union Budget and termed the Budget as a well-directed one.
“The Union Budget has not imposed any stringent economic burden on common people and, on the other hand, has announced various pro-people programmes. The announcement to make all houses concrete and to provide toilets to all the families in the country by 2022 is a welcome step,” said Swain.
He also hoped that the Union Government would function judiciously, thereby ensuring proper utilisation of funds at the grassroots level.
