A number of positive steps are taken to bolster the process of derailed growth through fiscal prudence with an eye to enhance social benefits to women, youth and poor. There is an increase in Planned Expenditure by 29.4 per cent more than FY 13’s revised estimate. Special thrust was given on education, health and on schemes like JNNURM, MGNREGA, maintained experts here at a budget analysis programme.

Organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Deloitte, Bhubaneswar Stock Exchange CEO Debaraj Biswal and Deloitee Director Himanshu Patel discussed about presentation of direct and indirect taxes and their impact. ICC Director Sanjeev Mohanty along with entrepreneurs and eminent academicians attended the event.
