An under-trial prisoner (UTP) was found hanging in the jail here on Sunday afternoon. He was identified as Akbar Mohamad Seikh (28) of Sradhapur in Khordha district. His hanging body was seen through window of the room. Akbar had been arrested by the Nimapara police on charge of raping a minor girl and was lodged in the jail a few days back.
