Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel rescued a 5-year-old girl from the Jharsuguda railway platform on Mondayafternoon.
Even though a few passengers said that they had seen a man carrying the baby at the Angul railway station a few hours ago, yet the RPF couldn’t establish the identity of the man.
later, the RPF personnel lodged the baby at the ‘Good News India’ a children’s home, located at Panchpara under the guidance of the Child Welfare Committee.
“No one has claimed the child as yet. This is the third child we rescued from the railway station and nearby areas this year,” said Jharsuguda GRP OIC P Kishan.
