Members of the Nikhila Odisha Non-Government Aided and Unaided College (Plus Two and Plus Three) Teaching and Nonteaching Employees’ Association had held a rally in the State capital on October 23 pressing for their nine-point charter of demands.

The association on Monday alleged that even though a month is going to be completed after the rally, the State Government has not come out with any specific response to the demands.

The association has decided to take to streets from November 24 for an indefinite period if the Government still remains apathetic, said association president Santosh Narayan at Press meet held here.

The demands include extending the provision of the GIA-2014 to 2017, to enforce implementation of continuity posts, to set workload as per the 1977 and 1994 yardsticks, to recognise the workers’ posts as per their workload, to approve posts of library attendants and women attendants and to approve storekeeper posts of all departments.
