A farmer in Bargarh district on Thursday committed suicide allegedly due to extreme financial hardship.
Reports said the deceased farmer Bhagwan Pradhan of Nuapalli village in the district’s Bheden block took the extreme step after he failed to repay loans he had incurred for farming operations. Pradhan committed suicide by consuming pesticide, the reports added.
