The Samata Kranti Dal on Thursday blasted the ruling BJD alleging that it is using money and muscle powers to win the forthcoming elections to the urban local bodies (UlBs), thereby making a mockery of democracy and municipal polls.
The party executive body, in a resolution, also accused the State Government of failing to ensure UlB polls in western Odisha, thereby creating a Constitutional crisis.
Party president George Tirkey and senior leader Braja Kishore Tripathy were among many others who attended the executive body meeting and decried the State Government’s failure in all fronts.
