The Utkal Grameen Bank (UGB) is implementing many technology driven products like NFFT, RTGS, IMPS remittance facilities, AEPS and ABPS facilities for DBT, DBTl beneficiaries, said Chairman Ranjit Mishra on occasion of the Fourth Foundation Day of the bank on Wednesday.
Besides, SMS alert and other services are being provided to customers.
The bank is planning to cover all the sub service areas allotted under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) by establishing kiosks to provide hassle free basic banking services at the doorstep of rural customers, Mishra said further.
On the occasion, martyr Pitabas Majhi, who laid down his life, fighting with terrorists was honoured by extending a humble financial assistance to the deceased’s family.
Among others, noted writer and vice-president of Odisha Sahitya Academy Gayatri Saraf was the chief guest. General Manager of Sambad’s Sambalpur edition Arabinda Das was the chief speaker and Dr Abhimanyu Mishra was guest of honour.
