The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) in collaboration with the Tristar Software and Solutions Private ltd, Bhubaneswar organised an awareness programme here on Monday on “Electronic Way Bill (E-way Bill)” which is essential for business organisations after the implementation of GST.
Chief guest Commercial Taxes Commissioner Saswat Mishra spoke on the Electronic Way Bill system. UCCI vice-president (Industry) Asit Pradhan presided over the programme.
Additional Commissioner (Enforcement) (CT & GST) Manabhanjan Acharya, Commercial Taxes Joint Commissioner Biswajit Pal spoke on the occasion while Tristar director GB Gupta and Tally Solutions (P) ltd RSM Mihir Kumar Mishra gave a brief presentation on the subject.
More than 100 members including representatives of the Tristar and members of other leading Industrial associations of Odisha participated. UCCI joint secretary Sanjeev Mahapatra gave a vote of thanks.
