On the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, an ambulance with nomenclature as ‘Maa’ was flagged off by Utkal Alumina International Ltd (UAIL) unit head and president N Nagesh in the presence of Doraguda PS IIC Gaurahari Sahu, Dangasil MO Dr Neeranjan Raita, company MO Dr Rajinder Mandal and AVP Rakesh Mishra.
The ‘Maa’ ambulance, a joint initiative of the UAIL and Rayagada police, dedicated to the public of Kashipur, especially the women in the periphery of UAIL would be operated from the Doraguda PS.
“The CSR wing of UAIL has converged with the broader health vision of the district by donating the ambulance for the wellness of the women around the factory and the CSR programme has been people centric in improving quality of life”, said Rayagada Ombudsman Bidulata Huika.
