In its continuous endeavour towards building a healthy society around, The Utkal Alumina International Ltd (UAIL) has set up Utkal Hospital at Osapada, PHC at Nuapada and a first-aid centre at mines top.
This apart, UAIL has dedicated two Mobile Health Care Units (MHUs) for the peripheral villagers of Kashipur and Thuamul Rampur blocks.
On an average around 7,000 patients are being treated in Utkal Hospital and Nuapada Health Centers every month and almost 2,500 patients visiting the First Aid Center.
UAIL's 22 bedded UTKAL Hospital has been declared as L1 COVID Hospital.
Unit head N Nagesh said, “The UAIL is working persistently to extend best possible healthcare services to all it stakeholders. We aim to take our Utkal Hospital to the next level of patient care and operational efficiencies to provide the best of healthcare facilities to the people in Rayagada district.”
