The Utkal Sammilani observed the birth anniversary of the State’s first women Chief Minister Nandini Satapathy paying floral tribute to her statue at LIC Square near the Raj Bhavan here on Sunday.
Sammilani Macheswar branch president Dillip Dassharma presiding over the meeting said that the Utkal Divas, the day of creation of Odisha as a separate State, was celebrated officially for first time when Satpathy was Chief Minister.
