Two children who had been facing a lot of difficulties while studying in Gajapati district have been rescued from a private organisation by the Child line and later handed over to the District Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
Notably, the two children, Pinki Mandal (11) his brother Anshu Mandal (10) hailing from Gumma block in the district were sent to a private organisation at Jangamsahi for their education. The two minors used to cook on kerosene stove there and walk for two kilometres to go to a private school.
Being informed, the Paralakhemundi Child line rescued the two and handed them over to the district CWC. The CWC later informed the matter to the farther, Dillip Madal, of the two kids, following which he came and took her daughter back to their village. Besides, arrangements have been made at the Grace Children Home here for both accommodation and education of Anshu free of cost. Pinki would study at her village school.
