Two employees of a petrol pump were injured on Monday when three motorcycle-borne persons opened fire after snatching a moneybag from them at Chatia under the Barachana police station in Jajpur district. The two employees Dushmant Nayak and Jayant Nayak were going in a car to deposit the money in a bank, when the incident occurred.
Though the robbers decamped with the bag at gunpoint, it contained only some papers. The staffs had cleverly concealed the money in the car. Both the injured were shifted to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack.
