Two locations chosen for IIM in Cuttack

District Collector Nirmal Mishra on Tuesday submitted a report to the State Government selecting two patches of land in the district for the purpose of setting an Indian Institute of Management (IIM).

“We have identified a patch of land measuring around 300 acres near Mundali under Barang block of the district, which comes under the jurisdiction of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar twin city. Similarly, another piece of government land measuring a little over 200 acres is also available in the twin city jurisdiction near Jagatpur,” Mishra said.

The Govt last week had asked the Collector to submit a report before Sept 10 proposing to set up the IIM after identifying two suitable plots.
