Two persons died and seven others were injured in two separate incidents in Puri on the Sunday. In the first incident, one Koudisinu (42) of Pentkota fisherman settlement under the Sea Beach police station died as the fishing boat overturned in the sea on Saturday while five other persons who were also in the boat sustained injuries.
In yet another mishap one Narendra Behera of Talamali Sahi died and two injured as the poison gas leaked when they were cleaning the safety tank of a private house under the Kumbharpara police station limits. The poison gas emanating from the tank choked the wind pipe of the deceased.
