After arresting two colleagues on Sunday for allegedly raping a fellow constable, the Government Railway Police (GRP) here on Monday began investigating further to verify the authenticity of the complaint lodged by the woman cop.The GRP officers were arrested when the woman constable brought rape and outraging of modesty allegations against them. But when other fellow colleagues of the arrested duo vehemently opposed the arrests saying that the innocent officers had been framed, the supervising officer directed the investigating officer to thoroughly verify the authenticity of the allegations made in an FIR.The complainant alleged that the two senior officers entered into her official residence on Sunday afternoon when she was alone and outraged her modesty by touching her inappropriately.
