Vigilance officials on Friday conducted raid on the residential house and office rooms of Dhanurjayapur GP Ex VlW-cum-PEO Rama Chandra Mahanta in Keonjhar district on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
The Vigilance sleuths raided his residential house at Keonjhar Town, parental house, father-in-law’s house and Crusher and Fly Ash unit at Ukhunda in Keonjhar district simultaneously.
During the raid, total immovable and movable assets worth Rs 2,73,17,775 were detected in the names of Mahanta and his family members. The Vigilance officials also conducted raid on the residential house and office rooms of Brahmapur BDA Assistant Town Planner and Planning member Raj Kishore Sahu on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
His residential house in Brahmapur, residential house at Udala, office chamber in the premises of Brahmapur Development, office chamber in the office of the Town Planning Unit, Parlakhemundi, and residential houses of Prafulla Kumar Pattnaik, Paban Bihari Parida, Ashok Panda (father-in-law) and Susil Senapati were simultaneously searched.
During the raid, total immovable and movable assets worth Rs 1,10,43,417 were detected in the names of Sahu and his family members.
