Two persons, including a woman, reportedly committed suicide owing to family dispute in separate locations in Jagatsinghpur on Sunday.
Reports said one Abinash Barik hailing from Hajipur village under Biridi block was found hanging in his residence on Saturday morning. He was sent to local Biridi hospital for treatment in a critical condition and later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, but he died there on Sunday morning.
Sources informed that deceased Barik had extramarital relation with a girl. This led to serious family squabble.
As a result, losing mental balance, Barik took the extreme step. In another case, a woman’s body was found lying in a railway line atGovindapur village under Tirtol area. She had been reportedly missing from her residence following a family dispute on Sunday.
