Two college students drowned in sea here while taking bath on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rajat Pandey (22) of Jamshedpur and Md Ibad (22) of Delhi. Both were students of the Piloo Mody College of Architecture in Cuttack.
According to reports, five boy students and a girl student of the college had come to the sea beach early morning by three motorcycles without informing their hostel authorities.
While bathing in the sea near the Hotel Vijoya International, two of them got swept away and drowned. Their friends sought help from local fishermen, who recovered the dead bodies from the sea.
Police seized the bodies for postmortem and detained the four other students for questioning.
