The two transformers in the Chipilima power house, which caught fire on Sunday night, have been fully destroyed. However, there has been no casualty, sources said.
Due to the fire in the switch yard, electricity supply in the area has been disrupted. The total loss may cross Rs 3 crore, sources added.alleged that poor maintenance led to the fire incident. An internal enquiry began on Monday to find out the reason and ascertain the loss, OHPC sources said.
