In a tragic incident, two brothers were electrocuted at Paradip during the wee hours on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Prabin Barik and his younger brother Pintan, a college student, of the lockpada area.
Due to a power disruption in their house, Prabin went to the nearby electric damp box for repair. He came in contact with the electricity-charged box and fell on the ground. Pintan rushed to the spot to rescue his brother but was also trapped by electric current.
locals rescued the duo and sent them to the Biju Memorial Hospital here, where doctors declared them brought dead. Police seized the dead bodies after registering unnatural death cases.
