Police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in egg pelting at the vehicle of Panchayati Raj and law Minister Arun Sahu in Puri on Monday, police sources said on Tuesday.
The arrested persons were identified as Swadhin Panda and Yogendra Sahoo.
It may be mentioned that Swadhin had earlier been arrested for hurling eggs at Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Dasburma at the Special Circuit House in Puri on January 3 alleging large-scale irregularities in the allotment of ration cards to beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
