A day after it reserved the verdict on the bail application of arrested newspaper owner Madhu Mohanty, the Odisha High Court on Thursday deferred hearing on the bail application of TV channel owner Manoj Dash, who is also cooling his heels behind the bars for over two months now after being arrested by the CBI in connection with the chit fund scam.
Justice SK Mishra adjourned the hearing of Dash’s bail plea and posted it to December 2. Dash was arrested by the CBI on September 15 and his bail applications were earlier rejected by the Bhubaneswar CBI Court and the Khordha District and Sessions Court.
