To promote the upcoming TV show ‘Ghulaam’, its protagonists, Vikkas Manaktala and Niti Taylor visited the city on Wednesday.
While talking to the media persons here on Tuesday, Vikkas Manaktala says that Ghulaam will showcase the darker side of Berahampur, where tyranny is the only mercy and how Rangeela, a slave brainwashed to obey its laws and his master's; serving his every need and want will find a path to redemption.
Notably, TV actor Param Singh plays a slave to his master, Veer is being played by Vikkas Manaktala in the show while Niti Taylor will be seen playing the role of Shivani, a sweet and simple girl from a small town who gets stuck in the criminal land of Berahampur.
Vikas Manaktala says, “Veer in the show is a star wrestler and despite living in a village is still very modern in his ways. Audience is already getting the impression that my character is similar to that of Salman Khan in 'Sultan' or Aamir Khan in 'Dangal'.” Niti Taylor who plays the role of a simple, sweet small town girl, Shivani says, "It will be a challenge for me to play Shivani as even though she is an introvert and apprehensive of meeting new people, circumstances bring her to Berahampur, the crime capitol of India.
“But I am looking forward to giving my blood and sweat to this role as I believe in the show". The show would telecast Monday to Friday by 9 pm from January 16 only on life OK.
