Television serial actress Mahika Sharma has alleged of being misbehaved by a group of people during the Rath Yatra in Puri on July 14.
Taking to photo and video sharing platform Instagram, she said that a group of people made fun of her while she was going for morning Aarati on the day of Rath Yatra.
This apart, one of the group pushed her and was about to slap her, she wrote in her Instagram post.
Speaking to a private regional news channel, Sharma said that those who misbehaved with her were made to do sit-ups by policemen present on the spot. locals also told the wrongdoers to kneel down for their behaviour, she said, adding that no police complaint was lodged by her in this regard.
The actress further said that security arrangement in Puri was good and appealed to tourists to visit the pilgrim city.
