Members of the BMS-affiliated Bidyut Karmachari Sangha (BKS) on Saturday staged a demonstration in front of the TSTPS Kaniha administrative building, demanding provision of a building for union office purpose.
Above 100 members of the Sangh participated in the agitation. They alleged that the building has been occupied unlawfully by INTUC should be evicted soon and given to the BKS. The INTUC doesn’t deserve to get an office building as it has been defeated in the secret ballot election held on September 5, 2014. The demonstration was led by Girija Prasad Sahu, PK Sarangi and BK Kanungo.
