The Tata Steel Mining Limited (TSML), formerly known as TS Alloys Ltd, commenced operations at its Sukinda chromite mine on Monday.
The groundbreaking ceremony to kick-start the mining operations at Sukinda was attended by TSML managing director MC Thomas, seneior general manager Sushanta Mishra and senior officials of the TSML and Dhanshar Engineering & Co. Pvt Ltd (DECO), the mine developer and operator (MDO) for the mine.
“It is a significant milestone for theTata Steel Mining and the first step in our journey of commercial mining.
