The All Orissa Truck Owners’ Federation (AOTOF) on Thursday withdrew their State-wide stir, which was proposed on June 9 over an 11-point charter of demands, after getting assurance from the State Government.
After holding a discussion with Transport Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi, the association members informed reporters here about their decision.
Notably, the AOTOF had declared that all trucks would go off the roads across the State from June 9 opposing the Government’s decision to cancel the permit and fitness license of a truck if it meets an accident.
