The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court here on Saturday allowed the Commissionerate Police to take key accused in Bharatpur triple murder Shiva Prasad Panda alias Bhabani on a two-day remand for interrogation. Though the Commissionerate Police on Friday had urged the court to grant a five-day remand of the accused, the court allowed only for two days. The police would take him to the crime spot to recreate the sequence of events leading to the crime he had executed at lane 4 in Bharatpur on the outskirts of the city on January 27. Besides, police would also try to trace the weapon of offence used in the murder and the blood stained dress of the accused to make their case stronger in the court.
