After 13 days of treatment in the Anasar Ghar, Lord Jagannath and His siblings, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, have recovered from fever and will offer darshan to the devotees on Wednesday in Nabajauaban Besha.

At 9 am, the devotees will be allowed to have a glimpse of the deities with a new vigour on the Ratnasinghasan after almost a fortnight. After care and healing by the Daita servitors in the Anasar Ghar, a makeshift clinic set up within the shrine premises, deities are now all set to join their 9-day sojourn to the Gundicha Temple, riding three tallest chariots scheduled on Friday.

On Tuesday, the deities were re-decorated after getting recovery, which is called Banaklagi. With indigenous colour, eyes, noses and mouths and other parts of the deities were painted and they were newly dressed up to get a fresh look. To witness the deities on the Nabajauaban besha after 14 days, lakhs of pilgrims waiting in the city will enter the shrine. To control crowd, police have made elaborate arrangement.
