BJP, VHP and RSS activists held a protest meeting expressing their deep concern over attack at Uri sector on Indian Army camp by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, near Gopabandhu Chhak here on Wednesday.
They paid their homage to the 18 martyrs who lost their life in the sudden attack that took place on September 18 early morning at Army headquarters in Jammu & Kashmir.
The leaders gave slogans against Pakistan and its Prime Minister Nawaz Sarif by strongly condemning the cross-border terrorism. They took out a candle light procession for the deceased army personnel. In the demonstration Vyasadev Mandal president Nityananda Mahalik, senior leader Damodar Parida, Dushmanta Kumar Rout and Yuva Morcha district vice-president Ayodhyanath Jena, among others, were present.
