A protest rally was organised by the tribals here on Monday demanding the arrest of Boden BDO Dharanidhar Naik. “We are protesting against the inaction of the district administration, which is
keeping mum on the issue of attack on a tribal woman Panchayat Samiti member of Farsara Gram Panchayat by the BDO,” said Zilla Adivasi Kalyan Sangha secretary Balakrushna Sabar. About 2,000 tribals took out their rally from the
stadium ground and went up to the Collectorate. As the District Collector was on tour, they handed over their memorandum with a six-point charter of demands to the ADM. The tribals demanded immediate arrest of the BDO.
