Tribals led by Laxman Hembram and others laid siege to the Pallahara police station on Thursday over police inaction in a sorcery case.
They charged that the police were delaying action against the accused who was absconding.
They said the poor victim in the case was yet to get justice.
SDPO Jasobantha Samal and IIC Gyanaranjan Samal came to the spot and discussed with Hembram and others, assured them to arrest the accused within a week after which the dharna was called off.
