Triangular love affairs might result in horrific murder. This happened in Mumbai on May 7 2008. Neeraj Grover, a TV Executive and lover of actress Maria Susairaj was stabbed to death by Emile Jerome Mathew, a Naval Officer who was also Maria’s boyfriend. Here love and jealousy pushed one lover against the other. This particular murder case should have discouraged all young women not to enter into any triangular love affairs.
The Freethought Party of India (FPI) is deeply concerned that some young men and women are becoming unscrupulous in their love affairs. There should not be any betrayal by anyone against the other in love matters.
It is being seen that some young women are becoming “loose” in their character and personal life. On 21.05.2019, a young girl by the name Rasmita Edela of Bhubaneswar married her lover Rakesh Kumar Lenka in AMOFOI. It was a love marriage. Rasmita was an outgoing woman. She got employed. As such she got the exposure to meet with other young men she got involved deeply with one of them and this proved fatal for her family life. It is now presumed that she committed suicide on July 2 in a lodging house in Jatni. Her family members are alleging that she was murdered by the young man who was having extra marital affairs with her.
As the founder secretary of AMOFOI and as the general secretary of Freethought Party of India that support priestless love marriage by exchange of garlands, my earnest appeal to all young men and women that they should maintain a high degree of ethics in their intimate personal life. Love should be a bilateral matter standing on truth and total integrity. This is vital for raising up the members of the younger generation.
Life is precious. It should not be lost so carelessly. There are parents to be looked after in their old age. Again, what is life unless one becomes the mother of a child or a father of a child. Triangular love affairs most often leads to horrific sort of murder. All such murders and suicides should be avoided and therefore, no one should get into any triangular love affairs in his or her personal life.
