As a sideline inconsequential story, transgender Meghna Sahoo is interested in contesting the by-poll to the Rajya Sabha as an Independent candidate.
Accompanied by some other transgender women in a procession, Meghna on Thursday purchased nomination papers form the State Assembly Secretariat.
She wanted to be a candidate to raise the transgender issues in the Parliament.
